Important: Community-Based Platform

RidesPool is a community-driven carpooling platform that connects drivers and passengers. We facilitate connections but are not a transportation company.

  • 1.The platform is open to all users who agree to these terms. We do not guarantee the identity, reliability, or safety of any user.
  • 2.RidesPool does not take responsibility for any fraud, disputes, accidents, or incidents that occur between users.
  • 3.Users are responsible for verifying the identity and trustworthiness of other users before meeting or making payments.
  • 4.You can report scammers and policy violators, and we will investigate and ban accounts as necessary.

Verification Levels

Standard Users (Unverified)

Any user can create a driver profile and post rides after providing basic information including a valid driver's license number. Standard users have not undergone identity verification. Exercise caution when booking with unverified drivers.

Premium Verified Drivers

Premium verified drivers have submitted their ID and selfie for manual review by our team. While this adds a layer of trust, it is not a guarantee of safety. Premium verified drivers appear first in search results and display a verified badge.

Safety Guidelines

Your safety is your responsibility. We strongly recommend:

  • Communicate first: Message or call the driver/passenger before confirming a booking to verify their identity and intentions.
  • Meet in public places: Always arrange pickup and drop-off at well-lit, public locations.
  • Share your trip: Tell a friend or family member about your ride details, including the driver's name and vehicle information.
  • Trust your instincts: If something feels wrong, cancel the ride and report the user.
  • Payment safety: Only pay for rides you've actually taken. Be cautious of requests for upfront payments or payments through unusual methods.

Reporting & Enforcement

We take reports seriously and investigate all claims of fraud, harassment, or policy violations.

  • Report scammers: If you encounter fraudulent behavior, report the user through the app or contact us at support@ridespool.com.
  • Account bans: Verified reports of fraud, harassment, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
  • Community responsibility: Help keep our community safe by leaving honest reviews and ratings after each ride.

Limitation of Liability

By using RidesPool, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. RidesPool is a platform that connects users and is not responsible for the actions, behavior, or reliability of any driver or passenger.
  2. We do not provide transportation services. All rides are arranged directly between users as peer-to-peer ridesharing.
  3. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or harm arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users.
  4. Any payments made between users are their own responsibility. We do not guarantee refunds for disputes between users.
  5. While we offer premium verification, this does not constitute a guarantee of a user's character, driving ability, or trustworthiness.

General Terms

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the platform for illegal activities, commercial transport services without proper licensing, harassment, fraud, or any activity that violates these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
